Crawford College North Coast hosted an evening of drama performance art last week, which show-cased the best of their practical work for the year.
The entertainment was boosted by dance performances, including the up beat and funky “Black and Gold” and a touchingly melancholic “Say something”.
The evening was a fine tribute to the inspiration and direction of Melissa Wood who organised the event, the proceeds of which go to a charitable cause, the Thokozani Home community service project.
Awards achieved were as follows:
Best song, was Juliette de Bruyn and Dylan Fouché – Riptide. Best script, Christopher Knoesen – Ode. Best dance, Amy Wright and Siphesihle Myeni.
Best Junior actor, Matthew Harrison – Urban Legend. Best Junior actress, Kyra Viljoen – Roald Dahl.
Best senior actor, Rubin Wissing – Monologue. Best senior actress, Alessia Michel – Monologue.
