A ticket to the future

Grade nine pupils receive bursaries.

Two of Sizani Primary School grade nine pupils have been awarded bursaries to Inanda Seminary School next year.

Sisipho Tambodala and Sthembile Mathumbu will start their grade 10 at one of the oldest girls schools in the country.

Sthembiles’ mother Sindi Mathumbu said she is so grateful for the opportunity given to her daughter.

“Thank you to Sizani for giving my child an education,” said Mathumbu.

Sizani teacher Rose Khuzwayo said the principal of Inanda Seminal Judy Tate was very pleased with Buhle Bhengu who is now in grade 11 at the school.

“Buhle was the first pupil to be accepted by Judy and she has been a great success,” said Khuzwayo.

Sisipho’s father Zanemvula Tambodala praised teachers of Sizani, saying they always go an extra mile to assist their pupils.
