A peaceful legacy

Plaque for retired principal unveiled at RA Padayachee.

Shakashead’s RA Padayachee School celebrated their principal’s longstanding service to the school with the unveiling of a plaque in their peace garden.

Puspakantha Reddy has worked at the school since 1992 and retired this year.

Pupils, parents and the school staff members gathered at the school recently to say farewell to Reddy, who will always be remembered by the plaque.

The plaque is situated in the peace garden, sponsored by The Rotary Club of Ballito, which is a calming place for the pupils to get some comfort and quiet.

The school said this was the ideal location for the plaque, because Reddy always showed compassion and unconditional love for the pupils and the community.
