Pupils are urged to make use of the computer and homework center facilities.

Promoting reading among the youth, the Tongaat Secondary Rotary Club sponsored books for the Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society‘s newly fledged reading room.

Based at the Truro Empowerment Centre in Plein Street, the facility provides educational opportunities and aims to help with and to monitor the homework of children in the absence of their parents or caregivers who may have literacy problems.

Members of the rotary club will also host reading sessions for pupils during the third term school holiday.

Pupils are urged to make use of the computer and homework center facilities.
