Pupils at Curro Mount Richmore Independent School joined the fitness journey with the team of the 5 Colour Fitness TV show.
FHA (Fitness, Health and Active) officially launched its fifth season on DSTV recently, the 5 Colour Fitness Countryside Escape Edition.
Season 5 was filmed in KwaZulu-Natal and Curro Mount Richmore was one of the schools selected to take part.
This fun season was filmed in time for winter making it easier for South Africans to be fit, healthy and active from the comfort (and warmth) of their homes.

“It is now our fifth season and the show will soon celebrate its first birthday in July. We are so proud to have the learners of Curro Mount Richmore School join us on set and work out with our trainers. The excitement and willingness of the school learners to be fit and join us on this journey has been rewarding,” said FHA executive director, Berne van Zyl.
The children were joined by renowned South African singer and Ballito resident Bobby van Jaarsveld, which created a very exciting atmosphere on set.
“Exercise, health, and keeping fit are very important to us at Curro Mount Richmore. Making sure our learners are kept active promotes a healthy mind that wants to learn and grow. It was a great testament to our school having the FHA crew on our campus. They brought that extra bit of light to our learners, who had a fantastic time,” said Curro Mount Richmore executive head, Bryn Thomas.
5 Colour Fitness Countryside Escape Edition will broadcast from Monday to Sunday at 7am and again at 5pm on SuperSport channel 209 Variety 4.
The show is also available on DSTV Catch Up and Showmax.
