The gift of literacy comes to Emona Primary, courtesy of SA Muslim Charitable Trust

The donation from the South African Muslim Charitable Trust (SAMCT) is intended to aid child literacy, which is a proven indicator of success in adulthood.

Three mobile libraries and new electrical wiring were recently donated to Emona Primary outside Tongaat, giving pupils a better chance at a bright future.

One of the mobile libraries that will give the Emona Primary students the gift of assisted imagination.

Previously, the pupils and staff were without functioning lights or a dedicated library.
