Netcare Alberlito celebrates Children’s Day at RA Padayachee primary

The visit ended on a high note with the pupils dancing the famous Jerusalema dance with the nurses.

RA Padayache Primary School pupils started the weekend in high spirits after receiving goodies and stationery from Netcare Alberlito Hospital nurses and doctors last Friday.

The grade 7 pupils were inspired by the nurses and given some encouragement ahead of some of the challenges they may face in high school next year.

“We as nurses and doctors of Alberlito came together and came up with an idea of celebrating Children’s Day with you and talking to you about the journey, which is starting high school next year.

“I am sure you are excited and ready to tackle that challenge,” said hospital manager Thula Sizwe Mngadi.

He thanked sponsors for making the day possible.

The visit ended on a high note with the pupils dancing the famous Jerusalema dance with the nurses.

The hospital plans to host this event annually with schools around KwaDukuza.

The first Saturday of November is National Children’s Day.
