A carnival 50th for So-High Methodist Pre-school

The Umhlali-based pre-school has been a pillar of the community for 5 decades.

So-High Methodist Pre-school celebrated its 50th anniversary with a carnival at the school on Sunday.

Children and parents enjoyed the fabulous old-school games on offer, testing their hand-eye coordination to the max.

The Umhlali-based pre-school has been a pillar of the community for 5 decades and is fondly remembered by generations of old boys and girls who now in turn are sending their own children to learn their A, B Cs.

Principal Leila Sharp said: “So-High is so much more than just a school, it’s an extended family, and our birthday carnival showed just that – members of this family coming together, playing their part in putting on the most incredible fun day.

“It was so wonderful to see past pupils and their families, as well as some who are enrolled to start in the next year or 2 here too.”
