Feast of talent at Crawford

Award-winning actors Bryan Hiles, Cara Roberts and Ballito doctor and Women in Science advocate Kim Bishop judged the performances.

Crawford International North Coast Preparatory and College pupils recently showcased their acting flair at the first #BeYourself talent competition.

Twenty-four acts were presented involving 33 pupils.

The vocal and instrumental music entries, ranging from classical to modern, was of a high standard.

Grade 5 pupil Lirandzo Masinga won the judges award with her version of Diamonds.

Manzil Harikaran-Giandev won the college award for his impressive drum improvisation on “Who let the dogs out.”

Dance entries entertained the audience with their energy and passion for the art, showcasing a variety of styles such hip hop, street, ballet, contemporary, and polka ballet.

Kanan Tatsumi and Harshealiah Williams claimed top honours in the Preparatory awards.
