The boutique boarding school, College House, offers flexible weekly boarding.

Boarders can stay for a night, or two or for the whole week.

The nightly rate includes a delicious and nutritious breakfast, teatime snack, lunch, and dinner.

Academic support ensures that homework is also taken care of.

Meet DGC principal – Heidi Rea

Principal Heidi Rea joined Durban Girls’ College in January this year.

After graduating from the University of Witwatersrand with a BSc Mathematics major, she went on to complete an Honours degree in psychology.

Mrs Rea brings with her more than 28 years of experience and expertise in primary and high school education, instilling boarding, academic, cultural, and sporting excellence.

She marks a new chapter for DGC as she leads the school through a rapidly changing educational landscape in its 145th year.

Her vision is to provide significant, globally relevant, holistic education, built on the traditional values of integrity, courage, agility, respect, and empathy.
