Some came from as far as Cape Town and Johannesburg for the special day with their grandchildren.

Grandparents were treated to performances by the school’s marimba band and choirs before they joined the children in the classrooms, catching up with them on schoolwork and meeting their teachers and fellow classmates.

A picnic party followed on the field, where even some great grandparents were able to join in on the fun.
