Ashton and Spartans go head-to-head

Showing off their skills as batsmen, Grant Knowles and Marek Gough came away with well-deserved half centuries, setting up the victory against the Spartans Cricket Academy.

Ashton International College Ballito cricketers faced off against teams from Rajasthan, India, last week, with the 1st team recording a comfortable nine wicket win.

Ashton’s first team captain and bowler, Robbie Pritchard led the charge, taking three wickets.

Showing off their skills as batsmen, Grant Knowles and Marek Gough came away with well-deserved half centuries, beating the Spartans Cricket Academy.

Ashton’s U15 team lost by 29 runs. Julian Steyn was the star of the match with an amazing 146 runs before being dismissed.
