“It does feel amazing to achieve the goals I set out to, but what makes me really proud is how proud I have made my parents, without whom this would not have been possible,” said Ramlakan.

Ramlakan said he combined multiple study techniques, focusing mainly on the Pomodoro style, which integrates timed interval learning.

Despite being accepted to the University of Cape Town for medicine, he has decided to study actuarial science at the University of Stellenbosch.

“I reflected on where my strengths are and decided that I need to follow mathematics,” said Ramlakan, who achieved 98% for mathematics and 97% for further studies mathematics.

“We engineer possibility. We build the best you, and this year, together with the support of their parents and teachers, our matrics have crafted something amazing. Crawford International North Coast – always I’m possible, never impossible,” said executive head, Vernon David.
