Top musician Coenie de Villiers shares insight, performs at Ashton College

De Villiers' show was opened by talented school pupils April Drew and Madison Taljaard.

Legendary Afrikaans singer-songwriter Coenie de Villiers held a singing-songwriting workshop at Ashton International College Ballito on Saturday.

Local young talent April Drew and Madison Taljaard opened the show with some spell-binding performances.

The 15 attendees were offered a first-hand account and insight into the music business before witnessing the master himself in action in the evening.

Coenie de Villiers provided a top-class performance in the evening.

Opening the act were the talented April Drew and Madison Taljaard, who performed various hits, including Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, La Llorona and Somewhere Only We Know.
