Crawford International North Coast Pre-Primary hosts Big 5 animal elections
The activity aimed to teach children about democracy and participation.
With election fever in the air, Crawford International North Coast Pre-Primary held elections of their own to decide which Big 5 animal should rule.
The elephant promised new toys, the lion extra playtime, the buffalo a dance party, the leopard a “sit next to your friend” day and the rhino free ice lollies.
Pupils received their ID cards and eagerly lined up to cast their votes. The fun activity helped teach the children important values such as democracy, fairness and the importance of participation.
