Osizweni Primary soccer stars kitted out with new gear thanks to Ballito donation
The handover was made possible by the Ballito Lions, in partnership with the organisers of the Ballito Charity Day.
Osizweni Primary School’s soccer team is fully equipped and ready to hit the field, thanks to a generous donation of soccer kits and equipment on Monday.
The donation came from the Ballito Lions in partnership with the organisers of the Ballito Charity Day, represented by Gerhard Breedt on the day. The group handed over the full soccer kits – including jerseys, shorts and socks – as well as soccer balls, whistles, first aid kits and training markers.
Paul Naidoo, projects manager for the Ballito Lions, said the organisation has been supporting the school for the past ten years.

“Going forward, we want to improve the soccer field and hope to supply soccer shoes as funds become available. We also make a special appeal to any companies that wish to sponsor our initiatives,” said Naidoo.
The school’s sports facilities have already seen significant upgrades. Recently, new goalposts were installed on the soccer field, while the girls’ netball team received a fully marked court with brand-new netball posts.
