First day fun at KwaDukuza and Mandeni schools

The Courier visited Stanger Heights and Dawnview Primary, while some other schools shared their happy photos.

The Courier popped in at Stanger Heights and Dawnview Primary schools last Wednesday to capture some of the youngest pupils on their first day of school.

A few other schools across KwaDukuza and Mandeni also shared happy photos from the major milestone day.

For some, it was an exciting adventure. For others, the look said it all: “I didn’t sign up for this.”

At Dawnview Primary, two little gentlemen decided it was nap o’clock – right there on the classroom carpet.

That is, until uncle journalist arrived with a camera.

Suddenly, nap time was over and it was show time – smiles, poses and plenty of “Cheese, Malume!”
