Ashton Ballito celebrates top results across IEB, Cambridge and IGCSE exams
Triple triumph for Ashton Ballito as 2025 results exceed expectations.
Ashton International College Ballito has once again proven its academic excellence, celebrating outstanding results across the IEB, Cambridge AS & A-Levels and IGCSE examinations for the class of 2025.
IEB success

The IEB matric class achieved a 100% pass rate, with 66 distinctions among the top 10 students alone – an average of 6.6 distinctions per student. The top achiever, Ethan Naidoo, attained seven distinctions and an average of 93.14%, achieving top 1% rankings nationally in Accounting, Mathematics and Physical Science. He will be pursuing Actuarial Science.
Following closely were Dylan Hugo (89.57%, 7 distinctions) and Riddhi Ramcharan (88.57%, 7 distinctions), with many top 10 students heading to universities such as Stellenbosch and UCT. In total, 23 students (20.4% of the class) achieved an aggregate of 80% or above, while 89% of the cohort attained a C aggregate or higher.
Cambridge AS & A-Level excellence

Students in the Cambridge stream also excelled. Across AS and A-Level exams, a combined 107 A and A symbols* were earned – averaging 4.12 A’s per student. Top A-Level student Kimaya Subraylu achieved an exceptional average of 92% and seven distinctions. She plans to study Medicine.
Other standout achievers included Yashin Arjoon (91.2%) heading to UCT for Actuarial Science, Raashmi Ramrackan (86.9%) and Grace Khoury (83.3%) who will be studying Law at Stellenbosch.
IGCSE brilliance

The IGCSE class of 2025 also delivered a stellar performance, with 23.5% of candidates earning A+ symbols and 47% achieving an A grade or higher. A remarkable 93% of students scored between A+ and C.
Gabriella Bezuidenhout led the year with straight A+ results and an average of 95.17%. Close behind were Tavaria Rajoo (92.67%) and Kamsi Ogueli (90.33%). Several subjects, including Physical Science and Music, recorded only A and B results.

CEO Andre Buys attributed the school’s consistent performance to a strong partnership between teachers, students and parents.
