American International School of Jeddah spreads smiles on North Coast

A particular highlight of their trip was a visit to Bongimfundo Primary School near Zinkwazi.

A R42 000 donation towards new Grade R toilet facilities has left a lasting mark on Bongimfundo Primary School near Zinkwazi.

The contribution was made by pupils from the American International School of Jeddah (AISJ) in Saudi Arabia during their recent visit as part of the school’s annual Week Without Walls programme.

Spending time at Bongimfundo Primary was a highlight of the trip, with pupils from both schools sharing experiences and learning from one another.

AISJ made Sugar Bay Camp in Zinkwazi its home base while exploring KwaZulu-Natal. Activities included game drives and a Zulu cultural experience at Phezulu Safari Park, as well as a marine conservation visit to uShaka Marine World.
