Hulett Combined School defends home honour at sports fest
Local teams enjoyed competitive soccer and netball contests.
Hulett Combined School in Doringkop successfully defended their home-ground advantage when hosting Thanduyise Secondary School from Empangeni in a sports fixture on May 15.

The boys’ matches proved to be tightly contested, with the Hulett Combined U17 team playing to a goalless draw against Thanduyise Combined. The U21 sides also ended their match in a 0-0 stalemate after a competitive encounter.

The girls’ team, however, delivered a dominant performance, giving the visitors little opportunity to settle into the game. Hulett secured an impressive 29-7 victory to cap off a successful day on home soil.
