TES College Ballito offers pupils an alternative approach to education, combining small classes, personalised support and flexible academic pathways.

Based at Northside Park in the Ballito Business Park, the college provides CAPS classes for Grades five to 12, Cambridge preparation for International GCSE and AS/A Levels, and the American GED programme as an alternative route to a matric qualification.

Private tuition is also available across the CAPS, Cambridge, IEB and GED curricula, with focused support tailored to each pupil’s strengths, learning style and academic goals.

Beyond the classroom, TES offers enrichment programmes including Afrikaans Made Easy, Reading Studio, Coding and Robotics Club and Dolphin Coast Tutors. These programmes aim to build confidence, independence and critical thinking alongside academic development.

Meet the Principal

TES’s Shaleena Deonarain is a SACE-registered educator and principal with 13 years of teaching experience.

After matriculating in 2008, she obtained a Diploma in Human Resource Management and a PGCE in Senior and FET Phase education. She is also a registered IMPAQ and SACAI invigilator.

Her experience spans curriculum planning, assessment, classroom management, differentiated learning and learner development. As a principal, she values integrity, accountability, teamwork and academic excellence.
