Tell me I am not the only person who is driven to distraction by the vast quantity of paperwork that accompanies the majority of medicines. An enormous amount of paper, that once unfolded all but covers the average dining table!
I like to think that I have a modicum of intelligence (this of course could be delusional), and have tried on a couple of occasions to try to comprehend this screed, and the only thing I can make any sense of, is that the vast majority of medication will give you either diarrhoea or constipation …. What a choice!
I appreciate that the pharmaceutical companies have to cover their butts, but I venture to suggest that there are not that many ‘Joe Soaps’ with degrees in pharmacology!
The other major failing with this mass of paper, is that having finally succeeded in opening it right out, it is an impossibility to re-fold it, unless one is accomplished in origami.
Also in the same vein, is the packaging of medication, which is always far too big for the product. If you buy a container of say 30 tablets, and once the mattress sized piece of foam has been removed, along with the anti humidity sachet – there is enough room in the container to accommodate a month of shopping!
Oh well, it’s probably just me being a grumpy old lady – or maybe I am barking mad …….. better get some tablets!
