About half of my friends enjoy hunting, and I don’t judge them. I don’t believe that legal hunting is really the only option for saving our wildlife, as is often the defence. What are the other options?
Can we pay money to look at and enjoy animals? Don’t tourists and locals already do this?
But the real issue I would like to see discussed is, that it is the year 2015 and we are still killing animals for fun. I don’t know of any other animals that kill for pleasure. (The Ichneumonidae (wasps) are pretty mean, but they are not doing their thing for pleasure).
I feel like I must ask, why are some of us more inclined to kill other mammals than others? When it comes to a hunt, is there a big difference between rats, buck, dolphins, humans? Where is the line?
