At the much talked about ANC elective conference in Maritzburg, which left some comrades not sure of their future in this once mighty movement, Zuma was on a roll, telling hundreds of cheering comrades that he believed the ANC came before the country.
It’s a scary mindset that was portrayed there by the President. He went further, attacking former leaders who speak their minds about his party. There are things a president of a party or a country has to think carefully about before speaking. That is why some are saying he thinks he holds a monopoly on wisdom and he feels indispensable.
Some in the ANC still preach this tired rhetoric that no-one is above the ANC, while Zuma is trying by all means to show them that he is above the ANC.
Why is he scared of other people’s views if he is a true leader? The man is a true liability in the ANC and the country.
