The idea of success can mean different things to different people.
Earl Nightingale defines this beautifully in ‘The Strangest Secret’ when he says, “…success is the gradual realization of a worthy goal.”
Is your goal worthy of you and do you know how to go out and get it?

Be clear on what you want to achieve by creating your vision. Break down each step into smaller tasks that are realistic and achievable.
Write a to do list and tick off each accomplishment one by one.
Align what you want to achieve with your passion and link it in some way.
If you are using financial gain as your main objective, keeping yourself motivated is likely to be more challenging.
If you can incorporate an aspect that has meaning to you and offers value, your ‘why?’ for achieving your goals will strengthen your cause.
Monetizing your passion is the most rewarding scenario.

Breathing life into the ordinary and making it extraordinary is a recipe for success.
If you can create a service or product that will fulfill a need in the market and then do it exceptionally, you will be ahead of your competitors, every time.
Follow through on all your actions, be an action-taker.
Everyone starts new projects well but persistence is the key.
Without a lasting momentum the vast majority of start-up businesses fail due to lack of consistent action taking. Richard Branson often reminds us to “write it down.”
He suggests keeping a notebook with you at all times, logging your actions and new ideas. Take action within 48 hours – speed of implementation is crucial. And then network!
Develop healthy habits to support your goals. Create a routine and carry out these actions diligently every day, until they are so natural they become habit. In the words of Robert Collier, “Success is the sum of small habits, repeated day in and day out”.
Know when you want to achieve your goals by, by frequently asking yourself “by when?” When do you want to achieve what you want to achieve?
‘By when’ calls you to be accountable and commit to your actions. When you know your ‘by when’, direction is clear.
Visualize it, believe it, make it your reality. Having direction and knowing how to get there is only a chunk of the road to success.
Without the belief that you can accomplish your vision and that you deserve to accomplish it, your dreams may simply be just that… an unreachable idea that is ‘out there’.
See your success in your mind, believe it’s attainability in your heart, take action consistently and watch it become your reality.
