Letter: Dangerous Salt Rock road signs

One wonders if the required authority was obtained to erect these signs.

Kevin Reynolds of Sheffield Beach is frustrated by some road signs: These are the signs at the T intersection of Ocean Beach and the Sheffield Beach (P474) roads.

Drivers approaching Ocean Beach road from Sheffield Beach cannot clearly see approaching traffic from Salt Rock.

One wonders if the required authority was obtained to erect these signs since nobody in the right mind would have agreed to this.

It is quite possible that the developers of the three estates nonchalantly attached their signs to the existing poles and no officer of the law or councillor has noticed this and if they had, chose to ignore it.

The matter has been discussed with a DA councillor but it is obvious that the person has more important issues to worry about than safety
