STAR co-ordinator Averil Warner writes: Earlier this year your reporter Allan Troskie visited our STAR reading initiative at Sizani Combined Primary School in Salt Rock.
As a result of the excellent coverage we received in your Courier publication we have since welcomed a number of new volunteer tutors.
They have each committed one hour per week to assist with improving the reading skills of Grades 2 and 3 learners.
