We could never do what we do without you. The impact of a simple food parcel goes a very long way. We are gifted with eight food parcels a month through the Orphan Fund, these, with others go into the heart of our community.
They make their way into families just like Nompumelelo Malolosi’s. A typical example of being “outside the system”.
She had no birth certificate and hence ID, therefore neither do her two children. This means, with no work (not for lack of trying) she has zero money coming into her household.
In joining our program she is assisted with a food parcel as well as with knowledge, transport and photocopies for her to get to Home Affairs and thereafter DSD and SASSA.
Our success rate is high and as soon as these documents and grants are submitted she will be on her way to a future and will exit our food parcel “program”, making way for the next family.
It is often families like these who benefit from the numerous clothes and toys that get donated to us. “Thank You” feels like too few words to show our appreciation. YOU are helping us impact lives.
