Omesh Maharaj of Glenhills is unimpressed by Sanral: I can understand Rung Button’s frustration (Poor e-Tag signage, December 7) because I encounter this almost every day, especially on the northbound lane at Tongaat.
I did write a letter regarding this issue which was published in this paper on July 6, and a few days later Sanral installed that pathetic signage.
Are drivers just too ignorant to read the sign above the lane?
I asked Sanral to install proper illuminated signage similar to the Marianhill toll plaza. According to the reply from Sanral director Yogin Devan, all plazas should have had adequate signage by December 8, but this isn’t true. Today (December 10) I haven’t noticed any changes.
As usual Sanral only makes excuses, just as they are doing regarding the construction on the N2 at Tinley Manor and Umvoti.
