Life Ngoma of Groutville is grateful:
May I publicly express my sincere gratitude to the staff of Stanger Hospital for their outstanding service rendered during my six day stay in the male medical ward (high care) from January 7-11, 2019. I noted high standards of excellence, hard work, commitment and professionalism.
The triage desk, records (window 1 and 9), accidents and emergencies, x-ray, echo test lab, admissions and discharge and pharmacy were hubs of purposeful activity.
A big thank you to Doctors Hakipersad, Rajaram, Mthembu and all the Team Red members, management and staff of the male medical ward. Thank you nurses for always finding an ECG machine even if it meant borrowing from another ward.
It broke my heart to witness these hardworking personnel being subjected to verbal insults by some rude young patients. (I can imagine it might have been due to extreme pain but one of them was being discharged so the behaviour was inexcusable).
When we pray for the sick let us always remember the health personnel as well.
Thank you for restoring confidence in the public health sector. Please keep up the good work.
