Zahir Danbar is not impressed with services:
There is no need to fight or worry about Christmas lights in Durban when Salt Rock, especially Gail Street, has the street lights on 24 hours for over six months.
Hundreds of street lights are left on in Salt Rock, Tinley Manor, Ballito, Stanger and surrounding areas.
Can KwaDukuza municipality’s staff fix these street lights or are they best changing street names and blaming apartheid for their inefficiency? Huge pot holes are highlighted with white paint but not fixed. It’s like driving in a rural area.
What has the mayor done to sort out Sanral for digging up the toll road in two different places, thus making a single lane, for over three years? What is the municipality doing with all the hardworking ratepayers’ money?
While everybody blames and makes jokes about Eskom, here we have the municipality abusing electricity and having no authority over staff supposed to be fixing lights and pot holes.
This inefficiency and no service delivery by the ANC-led municipality must be noted before the next elections.
