Mary Nortier says cyclists should be more considerate:
In response to the report ‘Cyclists fuming over M4 danger’ (Courier, January 25), it has been a problem for many past years.
The cyclists ride side-by-side, chatting all the way with no regard to the vehicles behind them having to slow down to their pace.
Oncoming traffic is not always visible around corners for vehicles to pass safely.
Coming up behind cyclists when they are around a corner, drivers are unable to see them filling-up the whole lane!
Their clubs should do a case study, educate them and stop blaming the drivers.
