Recently, I paid a visit to the Lifestyle Spar in Ballito and did my usual shopping.
The next morning, I discovered that my purse was missing. I then returned to Spar, hoping that possibly someone had found it and handed it in.
I went straight to the inquiries counter and explained my predicament to the manager.
No problem. I was asked to describe my purse. The safe was opened and my purse returned to me, including the contents of several hundred Rands.
One of their staff members had found it at a till point.
This type of professional and honest service is seldom found in today’s world.
