On behalf of Ashton College I would like to thank the many people who were involved in our successful hosting of the Cell C Sharks vs Vodacom Blue Bulls pre-season warm up game recently.
Behind the scenes many hours of planning went into the day, and I would like to particularly thank IPSS Medical (Paul Herbst and his team); IPSS Security team spearheaded by Brennon Knott, Mr Patrick Ronan – Our event security officer; KwaDukuza Traffic Department; Ilembe Urban Management; Ilembe Crime Intelligence; ER Emergency services; KwaDukuza chief fire officer and the provincial commissioner of SAPS.
Without all the necessary permissions and services on the day, we would have never been able to have the great day right here on the Dolphin Coast.
Thank you to the supporters, and our apologies for those who were unable to get tickets, but we know the next big game will be on the Sports Campus and we can host double the number of people.
The gate monies were just over R41 000 and this has all been donated to Autism Awareness, and details and photographs of the recipients will be shared with everyone.
