Letter: Poor leaders caused this

Most kids in the country go to bed hungry every night, or without sufficient nutritional requirement.

DA PR Councillor Roy Naidoo of Darnall writes: Fraud, greed, self-importance, arrogance and maladministration are the cornerstone and foundation of poor people’s socioeconomic demise.

South Africans are suffering in silence while so-called struggle heroes live in absolute opulence, without shame.

The very same people we trusted with defending human rights and uplifting the socioeconomic status of the poor are so selfish.

The trusted government officials are involved in rampant criminal activities, waste of valuable resources, and gross incompetence with no one to account to.

Most kids in the country go to bed hungry every night, or without sufficient nutritional requirement.

Black families live in shacks and backrooms, while government leaders failed to deliver on their mandate.

At times, the funds are diverted to other projects, which enables greedy and lazy tenderpreneurs to squander money meant for the poor.
