Deon Viljoen writes on behalf of DOCRRA: The Dolphin Coast Residents and Ratepayers Association committee would like to compliment the KwaDukuza municipality (KDM) on the great rating it has received from Ratings Afrika.
Being recognised as the third best financially managed large municipality in the country and the best in KZN is excellent.
We know there are still a number of challenges on certain areas of service delivery and DOCRRA is looking forward to working with the KDM to resolve these.
Hopefully the score of 79% can still be improved on next year.
As a community we are often all too ready to criticise, and in many cases, it is valid, but we also do wish to recognise and highlight great achievements and this is certainly one of them.
