Letter: We meow you!

The feral felines in our area are so very appreciative.

Riki Yoko of the Feline Feral Fund writes: We’ve been overwhelmed by the donation of cat food received from the pupils of Umhlali Preparatory School.

A great big thanks to everyone involved in driving this project, teachers, pupils and of course the parents who made this possible.

Lessons learnt by the young ones are invaluable; these are the adults of tomorrow who’ll show kindness to animals in need.

The feral felines in our area are so very appreciative; the FFF feeds around 300+ feral cats in and around this area and as the food comes in, it’s being handed out to feeders.

There are huge colonies in outlying areas where we’ve exercised the TNR programme, we follow up with a feeding programme.

We have to mention Ms Gill du Plessis, Vicky Rumble, Michelle Gillitt: what superstars you all are, once again many thanks. We moew you!
