On Tuesday evening, July 16, my parents were involved in a car accident at the Ashton robots. Their car took quite a beating as did they.
I would like to extend my thanks to all those who have shown support to me and my parents. Firstly, to the emergency IPSS personnel who attended to my parents so swiftly, my heartfelt gratitude. You treated them with such kindness which in a dire situation like this was very much appreciated.
Thank you, MINS Breakdown Service, for being on hand to help with contacting my insurance to make certain that the car would be towed legally. You are one in a million and I am thankful that you knew exactly what to do.
Linda and Selvan who witnessed what happened, got out of their car and came to my parent’s assistance…you are special people indeed. The person who helped locate my mom’s glasses in the back seat and helped put them on her face, constantly comforting her and making sure she was alright…thank you.
From what I could gather this man is a gardener who sits patiently at the BP garage waiting for work. Please if you need someone go and locate him there as he is a true reflection of kindness, helpfulness and sincerity.
To Mr Craig Currin from Ashton…you are an exceptional man who never left our side. Even when I suggested you go home you just nodded but continued to help out. I was so grateful to see a familiar face under those circumstances.
Thank you to the traffic cops that suddenly appeared out of nowhere to stop traffic. We are lucky to have you serving our community. Thank you Mr Joe Erasmus stopping to check in on my folks as well.
To the staff at Alberlito may I just say a big thank you. And then to my angel friends, you know who you are, you did not have to but you did and for that I am eternally grateful. You stepped in when I could not and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are so blessed to be living in a community that cares so much for each other.
