I am a resident in Blythedale Beach and the water problem in our area is getting worse as it draws nearer to holiday season. Almost every weekend we sit without water.
The Blythedale community is not being looked after. We all pay our rates and taxes; the question is what is that money actually being used for?
Burst pipes are reported to iLembe immediately, the plumbers arrive hours later or the following day and are seen “working” onsite. I had no idea suntanning on the back of a vehicle was considered work.
How do we get through with these issues? All complaints fall on deaf ears.
If this continues our property values will soon drop, investors in the coastal estate will soon change their minds and realize owning a Blythedale property is a liability.
