Saturday, 2 November 2019; is etched in the annals of SA sporting history as the day our Springboks secured its third rugby world cup in three consecutive decades – a hat-trick of sorts.
An elated, chilling and goosebumps congratulations go out to the entire team. Legends were born and heroes will live forever.
Siya Kolisi and Rassie Erasmus to Faf de Klerk, Handre Pollard along with Makazole Mapimpi and Cheslin Kolby and the rest of our players who conquered.
Rugby will always be that special unifier of the nation due to Madiba’s magical touch of presenting the World Cup to Francois Pienaar in 1995 in SA – imagine him smiling on the bokke now.
