Letter: Why is this happening?

The residents of Ward 22 need to know why each and every time there is load shedding, KwaDukuza municipality cannot get the entire system back up and running.

Jane Clarkson of Salt Rock is fed up:

I’m going to keep this short.

The residents of Ward 22 need to know why each and every time there is load shedding, KwaDukuza municipality cannot get the entire system back up and running.

We are left without power hours and hours after the allotted load shedding time, and in one instance to be hit by load shedding again before even being turned on.

We need you explain what the issue is, and more importantly what is being done about it.

You cannot rely on Cllr Privi (Makan) to keep the angry residents of Ward 22 from your door for very much longer.

She has worked above and beyond her remit to keep us informed as far as possible.

I look forward to your response.

The municipality had not responded by the time of publication – Editor.
