Letter: Heaven and hell

Chaka’s Rock resident Johan van der Merwe writes:

Firstly, shame on you, the mayor and the municipal manager of the greater KwaDukuza area who control these prime areas.

Too many excuses and ineptness to enforce the bylaws, then sidestepping accountability and responsibility to say the least.

The same applies for SAPS commander in charge, then passing the blame game. Boils down to poor performance, a tag not to be proud of.

The densely populated areas of concern are to residents, invested property shareholders, fractional/sectional/timeshare holiday investors and booked holiday visitors the mostly affected and hurting when watching in disbelief, they themselves cannot access these beaches through riotous behaviour, by a potentially dangerous mob – that’s not tourism!

However, the ever-growing mob presence along these beaches is prevalent and disruptive, when copious amount of alcohol is consumed, losing their moral values and unacceptable inhibitions, sex, drugs and invincible gangster nuisance by entitlement.

Taking note of the elements of discomfort by Sipho Mkize, hence the bylaw extorting a race group?

Interesting point he is making, is there any evidence leading to this kind of discomfort and what will be the factual reasons for this?

The above is not tourism, so what is it then?
