Letter: Covid-19 challenge

"I would like to offer a challenge to all municipal councillors from KwaDukuza Municipality and iLembe District Municipality, councillors and officials, to pledge 10 percent of their salaries to a Covid-19 fund to be established asap" - Aljam-Ah councillor AK Dawood

Aljam-Ah councillor AK Dawood of KwaDukuza municipality writes:

I would like to offer a challenge to all municipal councillors from KwaDukuza Municipality and iLembe District Municipality, councillors and officials, to pledge 10 percent of their salaries to a Covid-19 fund to be established asap.

This fund will rise locally to feed the poorest of the poor with food hampers.

I am prepared to give my 10 percent.

You are most welcome to match or better my contribution.

This fund is going to be established for humanitarian aid togetherness, Ubuntu for our people.

Please feel free to donate for this good cause for one month only. My contact number is 0782581735.
