#Letter: We’re tired of this

"All KDM does is re-take our complaints without any action" - Zahir Danbar.

Zahir Danbar of Salt Rock writes:

For more than 6 months now (even when lockdown had essential services working) streetlight No. 21 on Hugh Dent Drive, Salt Rock, has not being fixed or replaced, in spite of many, many calls.

The same for streetlight No. 2 in Gail Rd, which has been on for a more than a year now, and is blocked by trees.

We reported pole No 3 in Galeb Rd for being on day and night, then 8 months ago the bulb burned out but was not repaired.

All KDM does is re-take our complaints without any action.

This is KDM’s way of servicing the hard working ratepayers who pay their salaries.

And, in last week’s Courier, a report of KDM giving themselves 9% rates and salary increases!

Ratepayers are tired of this.
