Ismail Asmal of KwaDukuza writes:
It was most inspiring and encouraging to see the KwaDukuza protection services use their fire engines and high-powered hosepipes to blast the streets of Stanger of the black residue from burning tyres.
Those blasts of water really cleaned the streets.
It would be an excellent idea if all streets could get these water blasts, say at least once a month.
It will get rid of stinking human excrement and other disgusting toxins that seem to have become “acceptable”.
The next step is to cover those awful potholes and make our town attractive again.
It’s high time that the town’s fathers adopted an honest work ethic to justify the salaries they earn.
