Just a heads up to those who haven’t gone to renew your licence disc yet after receiving an SMS.
The SMS states to “Present this notice number at the licencing offices and the amount you need to pay”.
When you get there, they do not ask for your notice number at all.
It’s apparently just a reminder to renew (Then why send us a 12-digit notice number?).
There were many people in the long queue who only had their SMS and their IDs with them, only to be told when they finally got to the counter that they needed a green form, ID and proof of address.
I hope this letter saves someone from the aggravation I experienced.
