#Letter: Dangerous Ballito intersection

"We regularly visit Umhlali club or go to the hardware shop and are forced to use what I think is the most dangerous intersection in the Ballito area." - Peter Smit.

Peter Smit of Port Zimbali Estate writes:

We regularly visit Umhlali club or go to the hardware shop and are forced to use what I think is the most dangerous intersection in the Ballito area.

I have a friend who lost his wife in an accident at this intersection.

Is there anyone that knows someone that can persuade the municipality to do something about this?

The ideal solution would be a circle or if not enough space, a set of robots, but we know these things cost money and takes time to plan.

A simple solution is turning it into a four way stop which can be done immediately at very little cost.

KDM please do something.
