#Letter: Update smart ID

"The vaccination card we received is sufficient but more importantly the general populace needs to be made aware they need to keep these vaccination cards safe in their ID books or passports" - Imelda Thome'-Becker.

Imelda Thome’-Becker of Maidstone writes:

The digital vaccination certificates are an absolute waste of time and taxpayers’ money.

The vaccination card we received is sufficient but more importantly the general populace needs to be made aware they need to keep these vaccination cards safe in their ID books or passports.

The health department should send Home Affairs all the information of who has been vaccinated and the health department now needs to capture the information to the smart ID holder’s profile so when they travel their smart id can be scanned and it will provide the relevant information to border control, police etc.
