South Africa’s power utility Eskom and the big wigs presently in charge of its upkeep are an absolute disgrace.
In a short space of about 25 years, these self-appointed incompetents forcibly took over what was firmly established and ran it to the ground.
The current buzzword is loadshedding.
What an embarrassment this is in a country which professes to be a part of western progress and democracy and all else associated with what it offers.
What we are presently confronting is neither acceptable nor feasible for an economy to thrive.
It’s quite obvious nobody gives a toss anymore and just shut down the power supply instead of attacking the real issues of theft and corruption.
