The ‘footy’ action soccer finals took place at Townsend Park last Friday and was well attended despite the pouring rain.
Vocal fans sat on the stands and watched the game with great excitement, while the players dashed around doing what they do best.
After a tight match, the Jamaican Mafia came out on top of the CTA Warriors with a seven goals to five victory.
“It went really well,” said Kyle Crichton, league organiser and one of the Jamaican Mafia players. “We had a great turn out and we managed to win!”
The second and third division finals also took place on Friday, with second division Trading Link beating El Classico with eight goals to four and the Invaders beating the Newcomers with six goals to four in the third division.
